Metathesiophobic Tendencies

I don't understand the "fear of change" phobia when it comes to technology. I can understand that some people adapt to new things on a different timeline than others but, when the advancement provides a dramatic improvement over the "old way" it should be embraced rather than rejected.

Like the commercial (who's product I can't remember) says:

You have to change the para-dig-um.

Sincerely,
Your resident Metathesiophile.

Yeah, for a long time I didn't think much about technology. Although I'm no metathesiophobe, I felt like since I had never owned a computer I would be so far behind in learning all that I needed to know. Of course, it's easier now than ever and it was never really as hard as I made it out to be. I understand what you mean, though.
The fear factor can be a stubborn blindness sometimes.

metathesiophile....cool word.

It's not so much a fear of change, as a fear of inconvenience for most people.
