Charter Car Crash

OnlineAthens.com has reported that the Charter Communications offices on Hawthorne Avenue was knocked out of service Wednesday when a car crashed through the entrance of the cable and Internet provider and pinned a customer against the service counter.

It seems like an accident but, I am sure that anyone who has stood in line there can sympathize.

So, I got a kick out of the scandal between James Frey and Oprah after the The Smoking Gun outed his book "A Million Little Pieces" as possibly a "A Million Little Lies" a couple of months ago. As such, I especially enjoyed yesterday's Zippy comic.

A Meditation On the Speed Limit

I picked this link up off of the BikeAthens Listserv. A group in Atlanta (pronounced with an emphatic "at") lined up across all lanes of traffic on 285 (aka The Atlanta Racetrack) and did the speed limit. Check it out:
